Jocelyn rolls over, hissing in pain. She swings her legs over the side of the bed to see the bandage soaked in blood along with sheets. She runs a hand through her sweaty hair, obviously in distress

Derek lets out a faint whimper at the stiff feeling in his neck, sitting up with his jaw set to cut off the sound.
